What are Dermal Fillers?

We only use the safest, most effective FDA-approved, naturally biodegradable dermal fillers at Luméra. These are clear hyaluronic acid gels which closely mimic the natural hyaluronic acid in our skin. Hyaluronic acid volumises, softens and hydrates the skin. It also aids collagen and elastin organisation underneath the skin which gives the skin a more youthful texture.

    How long do dermal fillers last?

    Dermal fillers are not permanent and will break down over time, so further treatment may be required to maintain your natural look. Luméra will always be here to help with any questions you may have or to give any further advice in regards to first time dermal fillers or if you are wanting anymore.

    All dermal filler that we use here at Luméra are made from hyaluronic acid, a natural component of our body and skin, which naturally starts to break down after 6 to 18 months.

    How do dermal fillers work?
    As we age, our skin changes and we lose hydration as well as facial fat. Our natural skin elasticity reduces due to the degradation of collagen and our skin becomes more fragile. When this happens, we begin to lose our natural volume and youthful appearance and wrinkles and folds start to form. When dermal fillers are injected into fine lines, wrinkles or sunken areas of the face, they replenish the hyaluronic acid that has been lost, helping you achieve a more youthful appearance.

    LASER HAIR REMOVAL Having never had any treatment like this before I was a bit nervous but I shouldn't have been. Jenny is so lovely and makes you relax. The leg hair removal has been a complete success after 6 sessions with the new laser machine. The procedure is quick and painless and the treatment room is comfortable, clean and cosy.     I've recently had a couple of treatments here and I can definitely recommend them . I was a bit nervous but Michelle put me completely at ease and she has a lovely relaxing way about her .
